Since 2004, SpeakAbility, Inc. has sponsored several workshops for both professionals and parents. Each workshop provided an in-depth look into an issue relating to speech pathology.

In June 2004, SpeakAbility, Inc sponsored a workshop on feeding issues given by Krisi Brackett, M.S., CCC-SLP. The topics covered included feeding and GI issues and evaluation and treatment strategies. Speech pathologists attending not only got great information, they also got to observe an evaluation.

In February 2005, SpeakAbility, Inc. sponsored a workshop on signing for parents and professionals. This was presented by Celeste Davis, M.S., CCC-SLP, author of Signing Together with Infant and Toddlers. The workshop focused on how to teach young children sign language and the benefits of doing so.
